Personal Trainer Studio


Patti Mantia, Ed.D.

A partner in the Pro-Fit Network, Patti Mantia is also the owner and director of education and training for The Fitness Firm, a company in Mansfield, Massachusetts. She works full time as a faculty chair and professor at Holyoke Community College. Patti serves a Director of Aerobics for World Gym in Brockton, represents the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) as a Master Certification Specialist and the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as the media spokeswoman. Patti oversees the fitness program for the Massachusetts State Firefighting Academy and is currently writing a textbook on the subject of firefighter fitness. She has also authored several training programs and is a co-authored of Fitness Theory and Practice. Patti represents the American Heart Association as a CPR/BLS instructor. Patti has worked as a fitness instructor since 1978. She has a Doctorate of Education in Human Movement from Boston University, a Masters' from BU and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Bridgewater State College. Patti is certified as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and as a Personal Trainer (CPT) by the NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association), by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as an Health Fitness Instructor (HFI), and as an Aerobics and Step Aerobics Instructor by AFAA (The Aerobics & Fitness Association of America) Patti has specialty training in the areas of pregnancy, diabetes and autoimmune diseases. Patti is fluent in French and has taught many of her programs in French in Europe.

From the South: Take Interstate 95 North to Exit 7A (RT 140S - Mansfield, MA) Continue to 2nd traffic light and go Left on Green Arrow to flashing red light, proceed straight into Foxfield Plaza between the Foxboro Furniture buildings. From the East: Take Interstate 495 North to Exit 12 (RT 140N - Mansfield, MA) Continue through 3 traffic lights (School St., West St. & Rt 106) and take a right at the 4th traffic light follow to flashing red light, proceed straight into Foxfield Plaza between the Foxboro Furniture buildings. Make Left at end of building, our studio is in the far corner to the left of Dave's Ice cream shop! or Take Rt 106 West, at Rt 140 North go right, proceed one traffic light, take Right turn and follow to flashing red light, proceed straight into Foxfield Plaza between the Foxboro Furniture buildings. Make Left at end of building, our studio is in the far corner to the left of Dave's Ice cream shop!
